This really happened.

I went to town to do my shopping. As usual, I get a coffee and stand across from the café's at the bottom of the escalators. A high viz security guard asked me to move on, I explained I was exempt, and could not walk around with a hot latte. I did not raise my voice, swear or become aggressive. The guard explained it was by law, and the notices explained it....... I said I was unable to comply, I can hardly walk, never mind juggle a walking stick and a coffee.

From out of nowhere 9 security guards rushed me, but for one of the mall staff, I would have been beaten and humiliated even more. What is this world coming to? What is going on, and when are you all going to say no?
