The MPs Charter.

Becoming an MP is an honor and a highly paid privilage. We often forget, they are our (civil) servants, as we pay their wages. I propose they sign a charter, and set of rules they must obey.
Full disclosure of all earnings.
Tax returns made public.
They must(when asked)answer questions.
They must get our permition before making new law.
Referendums should be more available.
If caught breaking our laws, they will face triple the fine, prison sentence.

It seems to me, they go into politics wanting to change the world, but a year in, they own two homes, have shares in the next big thing, and flout our laws. They become unbareable, and that should be the end of them, but we let them, and in some cases get away with murder. I know most of the UK just want to get by, and enjoy life, but we can't keep ignoring the corruption, the money laundering because it's our money.
Politicians should be made to serve an apprentise period.....6 months as a shop worker, 6 as a factory worker, maybe a taxi driver, cleaner etc. They on the whole have no idea how 95% of the UK live each day.I also think retrospective punishment if found guilty in later years of MPs corruption. We should hold them to account, it's our life they are messing with.
