Don't get old.

Talking to Dave today in the market. He's 80 years old, has had two of his toes removed, on crutches,lives alone. He goes to the market most days, maybe just to have someone to chat to?

He told me a few months ago he got a letter, and had to go to see a specialist in Rossendale. How am I supposed to get there he said? Of course I offered to take him, but he is independent and did it his way. The older we get, the less we are cared about, invisible!
