13 WITCHES

Thirteen witches are a coven, and I have had the privilege to be involved in lots of them.In 16th century Salem or Pendel Hill, such a gathering was frowned upon. They would sit around a cauldron, drink mead, have a meal, and plan the future. They would talk for hours, and would about anything, because nothing was sacred in the coven, anything went.

The modern day coven is very similar. These days the mead is replaced with Prosecco, the cauldron is replaced with with a dining table, making a meal is changed to a takeaway, but they leave no stone unturned. They take about every subject unknown to man, because they would rather know what happens during their period, they talk about that mole that's a worry, they talk about their holiday, their aspirations, but my favorite was revenge. Feed them enough mead, and they spill the beans. They have drugged their husband because they fancied an early night. They hid his golf shoes, cleaned the toilet with his toothbrush. Creative usage of itching powder was funny, but I could not believe how open and honest they were. Women talk about everything guys, don't ever imagine your secret is safe, they tell all. Early intervention saves lives, that's one of the reasons they talk about everything over and over.

So why don't men do the same? The alternative is to say nothing, tell no one, suffer in silence, act like a man? Well bollocks to that, guys.........we need to talk about touchy subjects too, especially medical ones, it's better to know these things.
