Things will never be the same again.
Do I believe? It's impossible to manipulate the death rate, so I admit I was wrong, even though something still seems sinister. Our lives will change forever, and nothing can stop this. Hero's will appear from the shadows, villains will always look to profit. Good friends will loose their businesses, pub trades will all suffer, but some will never recover. Small businesses will hurt more, two weeks is a lifetime in cashflow terms.
Isolation will cause conflict, divorces will raise. Children will suffer, but maybe lack of sugar may calm them? Just a thought.I can see breakouts organised. People will rebel against marshal law which is all worse case scenario.
Then you hear stories of a priest giving up his ventilator for someone younger. That kind of thing makes you smile.I'm sure there will be other great stories of great sacrifice and heroism. We are part of history, like living through the miners strike, bloody sunday, brexit, at least we have something to remember.
