Chatting to a couple of old friends today, in Blackburn
They told me about the Big bull and the Little bull, and how they used to be packed out in the 60,s/70,s. They are better known to me as the Brewers, and the White bull(now Labrokes) tbc.
I thought I knew them all, but they pulled a few names (of town pubs) out the bag, lots I never heard of. I was there 83-05, and through those years they were packed out. There was know place in the UK to beat our town.
Adelphi-Brewers-White Bull-Wine lodge-Toffs-Clarance-Borough-Grapes-Times-Ribbles-Jubilee-Sutties/Cav was one root. A start at the Zanzibar went another way round.
