Democracy is a farce for the most part. Unless you're willing to play the game i.e. appease the people that really run the world, banks, billionaires etc, then you won't have the backing to get elected. These people finance campaigns. They control the majority of the mainstream media which is essential shaping public opinion. The entire system is broken, not just the politicians. Politicians should be paid the national average in order to stop proper cunts from wanting to be part of it. Corruption should result in the permanent removal of financial freedom. If you take a bribe or whatever you will go to prison and when you get out you're not allowed to make over a certain amount in a year (15-20k). If you're found to have deliberately mislead the public you'll spend time in prison.
